What we do
Our TRAIL RUNNERS communities provide an unrivalled selection of trail running services which cater for all types of runner, from the trail running newbie right through to elite competitors.
We believe in keeping all experiences accessible to all runners; starting from our range of club runs (at least 4 per week), to residential training camps in beautiful locations, through to one-to-one run coaching catering for all abilities and circumstances.
Club Runs & Events
Each clubs boast a grand collection of runs. Wide ranging in distances, locations and adventure tastes, there are runs at least four days a week.

The weekly repertoire will always include:
-
A "Beginners" evening. Around 5k, couch to 5k style introduction to trail running.
-
Quality session(s) - usually hill training and/or speed and technique training; think drills, structured sets, feedback from coaches, and improvements in performance!
-
Steady social runs. Anywhere from 5k to 30k, mornings, evening, and weekends.
-
Frequent trips to cafe's and pubs!

Collaboration evenings with major running brands and trail running suppliers means our members are kept up to date with the latest products and kit and often get the opportunity to test new equipment and get exclusive discounts!

Training Camps
Epic 3 and 4 day adventures aimed to upskill your running and learn new skills.

Also great for providing extra training volume when approaching big events and a fantastic way to explore new regions and areas under the guidance and supervision of our Mountain Leader teams.

This video shows some highlights from a training camp in the Brecon Beacons:
- Uphill and downhill running technique, including the use of running poles.
- Navigation and mountain safety theory and practice.
Social & Community Engagement
At many times throughout the year you can find our clubs organising, supporting, and collaborating on important social impact events.

Featured here is our Sustainability in Trail Running evening held in collaboration with the Green Runners, Damian Hall, Allie Bailey, Flora Beverly, and Project Saltrun.

TRAIL RUNNERS founder, Ash Tuck, was on hand to offer solutions in lessening our environmental impact while championing community in trail running. And we opened up the conversation to race organisers doing their bit, travelling for events, and the impact that some headline sponsors have on our sport.

A Social Club
With much running, comes much socialising. Beyond our structured routines, our clubs serve as a vibrant social hubs where members forge lasting friendships.
It's commonplace to see groups attending pub quizzes, heading out on weekends away, going for dinner, and even forming romantic connections. All of this is orchestrated through our club chat via Slack.
It's heartwarming to see connections blossom, with some even leading to beautiful weddings celebrated by our TRAIL RUNNERS.
